White “Polvoron” Cookies
– Flour 1 Kg.
– Lard 600 gms
– Sugar 500 gms
– Egg Whites 2
– Baking Soda 1 tsp
– Powdered Sugar 500 gms
Shift the flour, around it, lay the sugar in a crown form. In the middle lay the whites and baking powder. Dissolve by rubbing, add the lard and mix until soft dough. Roll into small balls and place on greased pan. Bake until golden in hot oven. Once baked, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
