Havas Geneva

Village Ambassador: Simeon Brandner

My name is Simeon and I was born and raised in Geneva. I’ve been working at Havas Village Geneva for more than six years now. I’ve always been passionate about creative work and art in general. Since I was young, I’ve been on an artistic path. Studying graphic design in two Swiss art schools opened my eyes to different aspects of that profession I love. After traveling around and studying in Lausanne, I came back to Geneva and started working at Havas Geneva as an Art Director.

I grew up in the center of Geneva and was always found that this city that has a lot to offer. One of my favorite places is definitely the “Bain des Pâquis” that borders the lake. It doesn’t get more central than that with the view of the whole city all around you. The cultural mix and the general ambiance of this place has made it my second home since I was a kid. Markets, parks, museums, art galleries, bars and restaurants are also on my list. Markets because the atmosphere is so welcoming there, parks for the time you need to chill sunbathing without going too far, museums and art galleries to nourish my cultural soul. And bars and restaurants of course, who doesn’t like that.

The best part of Geneva is that it has easy access to the mountains surrounding it. Skiing, walking or climbing – there is always a good reason to go for the weekend when you need some fresh air and some time away from cars and the busy city.
