Host/Havas “Palau Pledge” was one of the big winners at this year’s Cannes Lions festival. The campaign, which asked tourists arriving at the small Pacific Island nation to sign a promise on their passport to protect the environment during their stay, took home three Grand Prix awards in the Titanium, Sustainable Development Goals, and Direct categories. Overall, the campaign won seven Lions, including Gold in the Brand Experience & Activation category.

We chatted with Executive Creator Director Seamus Higgins about the brief that started it all, and what it means to win big at Cannes.
